Emily Hare

Emily was delighted to successfully interview to join the White Rose Academies Trust in April 2018 as an intern during her Industrial Placement year from Northumbria University.  Emily returned to Northumbria University to complete her final year in the 2019/20 academic year and recently graduated with a First-Class Honours Degree in Business with Marketing Management in July 2020. 

 

In 2016, Emily lived in the United States for 3 months whilst undertaking an internship in the marketing department of an American company called ‘iDevices,’, here she helped with the planning of product launch events, controlled the company’s social media accounts, which included Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, Emily also supported in the planning and creation of advertisements for new products being launched by the company.  The company was based in Hartford, Connecticut.

 

Following a rigorous interview process in May 2020, Emily was appointed in to a permanent role as Trust Project Manager with the White Rose Academies Trust.  The role of Project Manager is extremely varied – from planning internal and external events, to supporting with fundraising, bid writing and managing many different projects for the Trust such as Investors in People, Corporate Social Responsibility, Equality and Diversity, Growth and more plus also working closely with students from the Trust Student Leadership Group throughout the year, which is extremely rewarding.

 

In her spare time, Emily enjoys good food, spending time with family, friends and her ShiApso, Macie.
