White Rose Alumni - 'Once White Rose, Always White Rose.'
Monday 7th June saw alumni member Hannah visit staff and students from Leeds City Academy and the Trust.
We were delighted to welcome Hannah, LCA alumni member, to Leeds City Academy so that the White Rose Academies Trust and the academy could celebrate her appointment as a prefect and a member of the full student parliament at The Grammar School at Leeds.
Mr Simon Ford, Vice Principal, commented “It was wonderful for Hannah, one of our talented ex-students, to visit staff and students at the Academy. Hannah left Leeds City Academy at the end of Year 11 in 2020 and successfully secured a scholarship at The Grammar School at Leeds (GSAL) to study A levels in Psychology, Business Studies, Sociology, and Politics. Hannah is currently applying for places at university to study a degree in Criminology.
“We look forward to Hannah being a long standing and active member of our alumni for years to come to inspire the future generations of students.”
Following the visit Mr Whitaker, CEO, said “Hannah is an inspiration to the staff and students across the Trust. Hannah’s intelligence, kindness and courage will ensure that she develops into a first-class leader. Hannah remember - Once White Rose, Always White Rose.”
