White Rose Alumni - 'Once White Rose, Always White Rose.' 

We were delighted to welcome Poppy, alumni member, into Leeds City Academy to meet with Mr Whitaker and other Trust staff.

It was a joy to meet with Poppy, LWA alumni member, at Leeds City Academy so that Mr Whitaker and other trust colleagues could hear about her successes and her ambitions for the future.

Poppy said “I really enjoyed coming back to meet with Mr Whitaker and have a catch up about my progress over the past year and upcoming opportunities. It was great to see members of the Trust team. I am pleased to know that I am always welcome, Once White Rose, Always White Rose.”

Mr Whitaker, CEO, commented ‘It was wonderful to catch up with Poppy and hear about her successful Post 16 studies and her continued ambition of being called to the bar, following her future qualification as a Barrister.  Poppy is a remarkable young woman, gifted with an incredible work ethic, a compassionate heart and a fierce desire to be an advocate for her community’.  Remember Poppy, Once White Rose Always White Rose’.
