Leeds East Academy is a diverse and vibrant school community which was judged as ‘Good’ during May 2019 across all areas of the Ofsted framework. In the Ofsted report inspectors commented; "Leaders' aspirations for the school are high. They are determined that all of their pupils, regardless of background, will achieve as highly as possible. Role: To ensure students are safe and their welfare addressed through the coordination of health and safety policies and procedures. To work alongside the Pastoral and Safeguarding team to remove barriers to learning and ensure students feel safe to attend school. To be aware of current health and safety legislation so that the necessary training can be implemented, enabling staff to manage student's safety and well-being with confidence.
