The White Rose Academies Trust are delighted to announce that following a national advert, and a rigorous recruitment process, Sarah Carrie has been appointed as Trust Executive Principal.
Sarah began her teaching career in the year 2000 and has carried out a number of leadership roles during her time at Leeds East Academy.
In March 2018, Sarah became the Principal of Leeds East Academy and, in May 2019 under Sarah’s leadership, the academy secured its first ever ‘good’ Ofsted judgement in the fifty-year history of the school.
Sarah is passionate about Teaching and Learning and the impact high-quality teaching can have on young people, with her being consistently judged as an outstanding classroom practitioner.
We hope that you will join us in congratulating Sarah as she transitions into this next exciting chapter of her career.
