Grade:P03 .32 - .35 £35,745 - £38,890 per annum, pro rata, (actual salary £33,067 - £35,977 per annum)

Accountable to: Senior Assistant Principal - Behaviour and Culture

Role: We are looking to recruit a Positive Behaviour Leader to contribute to the implementation and management of the Academy’s strategic priorities relating to positive student behaviour and attitudes. The post holder will ensure through effective day-to-day monitoring and strong line-management, that the pastoral care, personal development and safeguarding provided by Year Managers and Student Support Officers, is of the highest standard. This will result in a strong ethos of positive behaviour across the Academy. The post holder will challenge Year Managers to address student issues and to seek help for students in need by liaising with colleagues, parents and external agencies and work closely with all stakeholders to ensure that students feel safe and engage well. The successful candidate will be educated to GCSE level or equivalent at grade C or above, including Maths and English, with excellent organisational, communication and ICT skills and experience of working as part of a team. They will also have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop positive relationships with a wide range of young people. They will have recent successful experience of supporting students to overcome a range of personal barriers to achieve academic success and be able to demonstrate impact of successful experience in a similar role.
