Hours: 25 hours per week, term time only, plus any ad hoc duties to support the site/trips/visits

Role:
The successful applicant will drive the academy minibus to collect students and transport them to the academy in support of the Attendance Action Plan, or transport students to a venue as pre-arranged by the academy.
The role includes some aspect of support to the site team.
The successful applicant will ensure that health, safety and safeguarding of students transported in the minibus is of the highest standard.
Duties and Responsibilities:
To transport students to the academy to support of the academy attendance strategy.
To support academy trips and visits transporting students to and from events on an ad hoc basis.
To drive the minibus on academy related business only.
To drive, safely and diligently; demonstrating care for passengers, colleagues, other road users and the vehicle.
To undertake and record specified daily checks, defect reporting and minor maintenance of vehicles, including checking service ability of tail lifts and other specialist equipment, replenishment of fuel, oils and water, and tyre pressure checks.
