Role:

 

The White Rose Academies Trust is looking to appoint an Educational Psychologist to work within our Central Team to provide a bespoke in-house service to all schools within our Trust.

 

The Trust Educational Psychologist will work closely with the Central Team, Principals, Academy Special Educational Needs Co-ordinators, Mental Health Leads, and Designated Safeguarding Leads to ensure that the Trust delivers an exceptional, inclusive educational experience. The appointment of a Trust Educational Psychologist signifies an important milestone for the White Rose Academies Trust, reflecting our commitment to ensuring that every child has an equitable opportunity to benefit from a high-quality education so that no child is left behind. As a Trust, we continuously strive to strengthen our relationships with the communities we serve, the appointment of the Educational Psychologist will be fundamental in ensuring high quality support and provision for our community and the most vulnerable.

 

The successful applicant will be a positive, dynamic and highly motivated individual with a strong commitment to inclusion and a child-centred approach to education. They will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to forge positive relationships and communicate effectively with all members of our Trust community. Flexibility and accessibility will be seen as fundamental to the Educational Psychologist’s role with the support offered to our schools at a local level being adapted to suit their individual needs and context.

 

The Trust Educational Psychologist will work alongside our Academy Inclusion Teams to share their knowledge and expertise, shaping and developing best practice. The successful applicant will be actively involved in strategic reviews and quality assurance of provision across the Trust, to ensure that the support offered to our students is ever evolving and provision is actively developed in response to levels of need.

 

The Trust Educational Psychologist will work with colleagues and students from across the city, as such, a full current driving licence or access to a means of mobility support is preferred.
