We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and ambitious teacher of Computing/ICT and/or Business Studies to lead the development of the Computing/ICT and Business Studies Curriculum and support the passionate team, who are committed to ensuring all students continue to achieve beyond their potential. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to join and lead a department dedicated to improving outcomes, aspirations and life chances of young people.
Implement and lead the development of curriculum packages in Computing/ICT and Business Studies.
Proactively identify opportunities to further the effective use and impact of ICT in the curriculum.
Be committed to supporting the achievement of all our young people in the Computing/ICT and Business Studies curriculum, both in lessons and through extra-curricular provision, through their learning from 11-18 and beyond.
Develop, in all students and teachers of Computing/ICT and Business Studies, versatile skills and attitudes required for lifelong learning in a rapidly changing world.
Ensure that teachers within the Computing/ICT and Business Studies team are provided with high quality training opportunities, which enable them to be highly effective practitioners.
Hold teachers of Computing/ICT and Business Studies to account for their performance.
Work closely with senior leaders and the principal to develop a long term ICT strategy driven by curriculum needs to support the development of outstanding teaching, learning and assessment
Develop positive external relationships at a local and strategic level, in partnership with The White Rose Academies Trust and others, to promote the continued development of the Academy, as a central resource for the community

As a Trust, we also work very closely with the Outstanding GORSE Academies Trust through our membership of the GORSE SCITT and via accessing the Stephen Longfellow Academy Provision.
