Abby Neve

Abby grew up in Liverpool and moved to Leeds to study History in 2017. She graduated from the University of Leeds in 2021 with a First-Class History (International) degree. Her interest in education was piqued after volunteering in a school during her year abroad in Suzhou, China, where she studied History and Chinese. Abby applied for a graduate position at the White Rose Academies Trust and was delighted to be appointed as a Project Officer.

Abby developed a passion for social justice during her studies, which enabled her to gain an in depth understanding of the history of inequality. She is passionate about community projects and organised a sponsored cold-water swim during lockdown, raising £2000 for Leeds Mind.

In her spare time, Abby enjoys bouldering, spending time with family and friends, and outdoor swimming.
